| Parenting
Coordinator
The court may order a Parenting
Coordinator without permission of the parties for up to two (2)
years. The role is intended to assist the parties in moving past
the current impasse in their parenting plan and to help them jointly
parent. A good Parenting Coordinator works to make his or her job
obsolete. Often, the anger and emotions from the divorce block the
parties from making or implementing their parenting plan. The
Parenting Coordinator can be very effective in providing parents with
tools and strategies to help them past this painful stage so that they
can continue to jointly parent their family.
