Early Neutral Assessment/Early Neutral Evaluation

This is a process which includes one mental health professional and one attorney who trained to work together as a team. The team always consists of one man and one woman. The purpose is to achieve a cross perspective of both genders and disciplines in order to give the parties the greatest depth of perspective and feedback. The team hears the families’ story, caucuses and provides feedback. The parties and their attorneys, if they have them, can ask questions. If appropriate, the evaluation can then move to mediation. This is a highly successful model for providing confidential early feedback to the parties and their counsel. We are finding it to be an excellent model.

Mr. Rolfe serves on several different evaluation teams, please see the brochure on our website for one of those teams. He is also available to do an evaluation on financial matters as a single ENE evaluator. In numerous jurisdictions such an early evaluation may take the place of mediation.
