| Child's
Legal Representative (CLR)
Unlike a Child and Family Investigator,
a Child's Legal Representative must be an attorney and is not
subject to cross-examination. A CLR is an advocate for the
child. A CLR is charged with the duty to investigate, report and
recommend based upon an order of appointment from the Court. This
individual serves, just as the title indicates, as a legal advocate for
the child, it is similar to the role that was once galled
"guardian". In this role, Mr. Rolfe is much more proactive
and does much more than simply reporting to the court.
